Stimulus Models

For advanced LASAR users ITS provides development of behavioral stimulus models. Stimulus models are used to develop stimuli for complex architectures. Stimulus models read special instruction files to create stimuli that TESTCOM can not create efficiently. Stimulus models (transactors) are designed to sense the state of the module during simulation and react to certain events as they occur. This method of stimulus development drastically reduces user intervention by automatically aligning input stimulus to the module under test. This type of behavioral stimulus environment is programmed at a "high-level" so that the modules can be tested by system type commands, effecting a true functional test.
